Long awaited and long rumored Nokia's next Lumia aka the Nokia EOS is announced at an event today at New York. The smartie was given a name as Nokia Lumia 1020 which boasts a 41 Megapixel camera sensor , same as the Nokia 808 Pureview.
The Nokia Lumia 1020's expertise area would be its huge camera sensor. Boasts a 41 MP auto focus PureView camera with a large 1/1.2" BSI sensor,a 6-lens ZEISS optics as the same in the Lumia 925 and optical image stabilization the Lumia 1020 has both xenon and LED flash for both photography and videography. Camera software side is also fascinating , thanks to the Amber update which has some special imaging features such as Pro Camera and Smart Camera camera lens apps,to make the best of the Lumia 1020's huge camera module its well equipped with very good additional features and camera settings like full manual mode, which is usually a product of professional cameras.The new Nokia Lumia 1020 captures native videos of up to 1080p resolution and due to its high resolution sensor there it has a capability of zooming up to 3x times without loosing even a bit of quality thanks to the loss less zoom , you can also zoom up to 6x times while in 720p mode.Sound is also recorded as crispy as the video due to its inbuilt microphones and active noise cancellation technologies.
From the hardware side Nokia hasn't changed a lot since the Nokia Lumia 920,having dimensions at 130.4 x 71.4 x 10.4 mm weighs relatively low at 158 Grms .The Lumia 1020 hums on a 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon S4 chipset dual-core Krait CPU.Surprisingly the Lumia 1020 has a 2 GB RAM which is used for advanced imaging technologies.The 1020 has a 4.5" Clear Black AMOLED display of 1280 x 768 pixels resolution protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and features Nokia's PureMotion HD+ technology for smoother animations. Connectivity side is usually same includes Bluetooth 3.0, NFC (featuring SIM-based security), dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and GPS with Glonass support ,LTE support.Powered by a 2000mAh capacity and supports wireless charging(purchased separately).
